Yesterday we had the most perfect dinner at the Pepper Trail. Thank you for such wonderful hospitality.
Starters: papadam with chutneys, and a sambar-based appetizer in a coffee cup. Very refreshing experience at an Indian restaurant👌. Next, tandoor chicken and salmon tikka, lamb seekh kebab:
I loved the marination of these items, I swear the food melted in our mouth.
Main-course: Grilled goan chilli tamarind prawns, jaipuri masala grilled lamb chops, saffron rice and garlic naan.
Our favorite here was the prawn: crunchy, flavorful and beautifully decorated. Although a bit more gravy for the lamb chops would have been preferable with the tasty naans but our tummies were full nevertheless.
Dessert: Gulab jamun, mango kulfi, icecream.
We loved it! Specially the combination of warm and cold dishes in one bite.
Overall, we highly recommend Pepper Trail Rotterdam for a family or formal dinner. If you’ve ever wanted to experience Indian food with fine-dining, this is the place to go! We will be going back again.
We had a great evening in the restaurant peppertrail. The food was very delicious, the staff was very friendly and we were treated very nicely. I have had Indian food in many restaurants in the netherlands but no food can be compared to this kind of indian cuisine which is too hard to resist.
